The "Jai Narain Aadarsh Education Society (JNAES)" was founded in 1994 in the memory of Late Pandit Jai Narayan Thekedar, who was a well known social activist of the region, with the moto "Every Child, Every Chance, Every day". It is a non-profit, non-proprietary educational body widely recognized for its progressive aproach and commitment to excellence. Distinction and Inclusiveness are the key hallmarks of its philosophy, educational leadership and scholarly achievement.

Since its foundation, JNAES has dedicated all its efforts towards uplifting the standard of education in rural areas. In the last fifteen years, JNAES has used every opportunity to live by its moto "Every Child, Every Chance, Everyday". Its dedicated team consistently ensures that we provide every child, every possible chance on a daily basis to improve and come closer to excellence.

In 1997, the Society created its first institution - "Greenland Public School (GPS)", a CBSE affiliated co-educational primary school. In the last twelve years, GPS has grown to become a leading senior secondary school in the area. Several batches of students have passed out of the school with excellent performance in the CBSE board examinations. Its students have also achieved several distinctions in domains of sports, culture, music and arts.

Society's team of expert educators, advisors and teachers regularly invent new methods of education and progressive learning techniques. The infrastructure at GPS is modern and complete, equipped with a building with sufficient classrooms, well equipped laboratories, a library with thousands of books, vast playgrounds and transportation facilities. We focus on the holistic development of the student with integrated physical, mental. intellectual and spiritual learning.

The Society strongly believe in the ancient saying "Yatha Drishti. Tatha Srishti' -As the vision, so the world appears. Its endeavor is to broaden the vision of its students and help them develop many skills to take on the challenges of the modern world.
